All weekday shifts start at 4:30pm and end at 7:30pm. There will be someone to assist with the set up and to train for each shift. The schedule reflects the number of people required to work the shift. The team also has an option to buyout their shift for $30.00 per person. This must be arranged with the snack bar coordinator by the Wednesday before the week your team is scheduled to work. Only the snack bar coordinator (Diane Hannon 714-851-7100) can assign buyouts. If your team assigns someone on your own, your team will be fined $150.00. Payments for the buyouts must be done through the snack bar and payment must be received by the Friday before the 1st day of the weekday shift. Another option for buyout is doing a team transfer to the snack bar account. This is coordinated with the treasurer (Darlene) and the snack bar coordinator (Diane) via email. A parent may use there son or daughter to work their shift if the individual is 16 or older. This must be a responsible individual who is willing to work. It gets very busy. All other teens working MUST be approved and scheduled by the snack bar coordinator.
Failure to show up or arriving late will cost the team a fine of $75.00 per person. No one will come to your team and announce you’re short on your staff. It is your team’s responsibility to manage your team insuring the crew is on time. It is highly recommended that your team coordinator be there at the start of every shift to ensure you have everyone in place. I will try my best to send out courtesy reminders however please do not count on this. Once the schedule is distributed it is the team’s responsibility to coordinate it.
When parents are working children are not allowed to be in the door way or in the snack bar. This is a safety issue and parents cannot work their shift and watch their children at the same time.
Weekend shifts will be scheduled once the schedule is available from OEC. The number of shifts a team has is based off of the number of home games. The more home games your team has means more snack bar shifts. Your team will never be scheduled the same time as your game time. The number of people needed will be based off of the time of the game. Early morning shifts and night games will consist of 3 people and the afternoon shifts will be 4 people. The same rules apply to manning the shifts as above for week day games. Saturday’s can be very hectic and busy.
